Tolkien, heritage and participatory culture​
Mina Lukić, MA (1988)
​
Holds a BA and MA degree in Art History, obtained at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade in 2011 and 2013 respectively.
​
Currently a PhD student at the same Faculty, specialising in Museology and Heritage Studies, working on a PhD thesis entitled Heritage of Fictional Worlds in the Era of Participatory Culture: Modes of Remembering J. R. R. Tolkien’s Fictional World.
​
Employed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica from October 2017.
Fields of research: theory and methodology of heritage studies and museology, museum discourse, interpretation and communication, popular culture, participatory culture, fandom studies, Tolkien studies.
